PA 07 Meehan
Patrick Meehan (R) represents Pennsylvania’s’s 7th congressional district where over 75,000 individuals, including 20,000 children, receive their health care coverage through the state exchange for Obamacare (ACA) and Medicaid expansion. Yet he voted 12 out of 12 times for ACA repeal to take away their health care. Maybe he forgot 55,000 of them are eligible voters. Let us remind him by spelling it out for him – and painting him a picture.
PA-07 incorporates parts of the Philadelphia suburbs, including most of Delaware County along with portions of Chester County, Montgomery County, Berks County, and Lancaster County.
In the Presidential race, Hillary Clinton won this district by 2.3 %. In the House race, Meehan beat his opponent by 72,000 votes, helped in large part by some 40,000 Hillary voters crossing over.
A switch of 36,000 votes (half of 72,000) will defeat Meehan in 2018. We can mobilize 95,000 Health Votes to defeat him.
- 40,000 crossover Hillary votes
- 33,000 ACA enrolled votes
- 22,000 Medicaid Expansion votes
- Total Health Vote: 95,000
With 95,000 Health Votes versus the 36,000 needed to defeat him, Meehan’s Vulnerability Ratio is 2.6 (highly vulnerable).
ACT NOW, BEFORE HE VOTES AGAIN. Twwet, Post on his Facebook page, Call, Fax, Write or E-mail Rep. Meehan NOW.

Cut-and-paste suggested letter/email/Fax (personalizing helps):
Dear Honorable Representative Meehan:
Congratulations on your recent election victory by a margin of 72,000 votes.
I am writing to you out of concern about your position on the Affordable Care Act.
If you vote to repeal the ACA, you will be jeopardizing the health and finances of over 75,000 of your constituents, including 20,000 children.
If compassion for their lives doesn’t sway you, let me remind you that 55,000 of these individuals are eligible voters. Combined with the 40,000 Hillary voters who crossed over to vote for you – and who strongly support Obamacare – 95,000 Health Votes may be mobilized against you, come 2018.
We hope you will do the right thing by your constituents and be a voice for their ongoing health and financial well-being by voting against ACA repeal.
Sincerely,
(Your name here)
